SHIFT is a 3D car simulator, but like classic 2D games, with upper camera view. However, the game play is not only the simulation, because there are arcade additions, which really characterize the game.

Here you can see the general features of the game:

  • A 3D simulation game, but like 2D ardace games with upper camera view.
  • The cars go over arenas, classified according difficulty levels
  • You can choose different types of cars, with different properties in the game.
  • You must capture blue objectives in time and without damaging the vehicle
  • There are another elements over the arena that can be usefull for the player

The game will be played in scenarios (called arenas) and each of them will have fixed objects (buildings, barriers, etc.) and mobile objects (mobile blocks, platforms, etc.).

The player will be able to choose between different types of vehicles with different properties clearly differentiated in the game. There are fast but fragile vehicles (as proto, sedan and classic) and slow but strong vehicles (as monster, truck and tractor).

Another relevant fact of the game is the ability to manage weapons in the vehicle, therefore each vehicle has a concrete capacity and life.

Furthermore, over the arenas can appear some ramdom elements (rockets++, life++, time++, etc.), each one will suppose different consequences.

The player must capture different blue objectives with a decreasing timer. Each time there will be only one objective over the arena in a ramdom position, known by the player. When the player catchs the objective, another one appears in another position and the timer adds a few seconds up.

The player wins if a given number of objectives has been captured and loses if the counter reachs zero or the vehicle is damaged.
